Biarritz : In the Marquis of Arcangues ‘s castle of New Russian  year 2012

 A lot of people has participated in the New Russian Year organized by the Consulate of Russia in Biarritz in the the majestic castle-poem  of the Marquis of Arcangues illuminated this evening.
Tables crowned with the  name of the different tzars relived the bygone pomp of the castle.

The music living room decorated with splendid made matriochkas, remembered  the compositor Stravinsky, the choreographer Balanchine and the sculptor Choukline, every friends of the Arcangues ‘s family.

Russian meal was accompanied with some wine « castle Miller La Cerda 2009 », special year.

A prestigious dinner followed by a very romantic Russian  ball was organized in Biarritz. On the menu   you could read that the wine Castle Miller La Cerda was placed between  the game palombes: wild  volatille and mushrooms of the forest.

« A 100% Merlot wine, that has a Russian
and French back label, a reflection of the fact that this property is owned
by Anne and Alexandre Miller la Cerda, former Russian consul in Biarritz.
One of the family ancestors married into the Tolstoy family, so this must be
an interesting property to visit if you are ever in Bordeaux. This is a little held back
by the vintage, as I get some unripe fruit on the attack, but once it has relaxed
into itself, there are charming wild cherry flavours, and a softly floral finish.
