Alexandre de Miller de La Cerda, writer, journalist, lecturer and Honorary Consul of Russia in Biarritz, is a descendant of Louis de La Cerda, Count of Talmont-sur-Gironde and an admiral in the French navy during the Hundred Years War against England, and of the von Miller family who played a prominent role in Tsarist diplomacy during the 18th and 19th centuries. Qwned vineyards during the 19th century in the southern parts of the Russian Empire.  Owned vineyards during the 19th century in the southern parts of the Russian Empire.


A laureate of the French Academy and Maître ès Jeux of the Académie des Jeux Floraux, Alexandre de La Cerda is the author of numerous historical biographies and literary works on topics related to South-West France. Today, he manages a family-owned estate in the Bordeaux wine-growing region. His latest creation is Château Miller La Cerda, a high-class claret, or red Bordeaux wine.
